This past weekend, I participated in the Magnuson Series Martin Luther King, Jr. Weekend Run, a 5k just for fun. It is part of my initiative to be more active. It was a beautiful day on Lake Washington and thankfully the ran held off. It was still plenty muddy on the trail parts though, which made for some fun slipping and sliding along the way. In the end, I had a personal best time and a great race. I am grateful that I signed up and followed through on this race, it was a great way to start off the year.

DeleteAmanda,
ReplyDeleteI'm not a runner. In fact, I don't like to run but I do like staying active. My fitness craze is my elliptical. :) It's a good feeling to set a goal and keep with it. So congrats on finishing something you started. ;) Have a fabulous Wednesday!
Thanks! I never thought I would be a runner, but it seems to be working for now. Ellipticals are great too :) Have a great week!
