It is spring and thankfully getting a little warmer here in the Pacific Northwest. We are getting a lot of April showers, so I expect the May flowers to be beautiful and plentiful.
While coming down from the hill last week, I captured this photo of Seattle covered with fog. It was like that for a good part of the morning. It is a surreal feeling descending into a cloud, more like a dream.

Have an inspired day!
We get fog here too. Sometimes to bad that you can't see across the street. Kind of scary if you have to drive somewhere.
ReplyDeleteHave a fabulous Wordless Wednesday. ♥
I do hate to drive in it. It is pretty watching it from a far though. Thanks for stopping by! Have a great week!
DeleteAwesome capture. So beautiful and surreal.
ReplyDeleteThanks! I love this view of the city, especially when it looks so dynamic. Thanks for stopping by! Have a great week :)
DeleteIt almost looks like Parisian pastel if I didn't know better.
ReplyDeleteYeah, it does. It would be cool to try and paint. Neat idea. Thanks for stopping by! Have a great week :)
DeleteFog reminds me of the last scene in Gone With the Wind. If you haven't seen it you won't understand, but it was very dramatic! Anyway, your picture is beautiful. I would love to visit Seattle one day. Have a great week! Teresa from NanaHood
ReplyDeleteThat's really cool, though I haven't seen it. I probably should though, it is a classic. Thanks, it's a great city. Have a wonderful week!
DeleteI like how the fog makes the back scenery look. Great capture.

Thanks! I thought it was a really cool view. Thanks for stopping by, have a great week!
DeleteThank you for hosting us. Have a nice week!
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by! Have a great week :)
DeleteThere are days like that in Omaha, Nebraska too. Certainly more days like that when I lived in Savannah, Georgia.
ReplyDeleteA good capture.
Oh yes, I used to live in Charleston, SC and there would be foggy days there too. This one just really stood out to me. Thanks for stopping by! Have a great week :)
DeleteOur weather here in Southwest Pennsylvania is very similar to yours...lots of rain and cloudy days. Here's hoping for plenty of May flowers!
ReplyDeleteI hope there are many! It has been cool and rainy here, not so bad really, I'm just ready for some warm, sunny weather!
DeleteWell, the day before yesterday we woke up to snow and it snowed all day too! I still say mother nature is going through menopause! ~snicker~ Now today is very nice out it's 50.. can ya believe that one! Sheesh! Thank you for stopping by and love your pictures and especially the frame with the John Lennon quote! What a cool thing to do.. did you make that or buy it??? Looks like one could easily make it! Hmmmmmmm Have a great day girlfriend! hugsssss
ReplyDeleteThe weather sure has been crazy this year, that is for sure. I can't wait for some warm days. The photo was pre-made, the link is under it for reference. I love to make quote photos though, pretty easy with a good program. Thanks for stopping by, and have a great week!
DeleteMy goodness Seattle must be very wet almost all the time, great picture.
ReplyDeleteThank you for joining the Oh my Heartsie Girls WW Linkup!!
It tends to aggressively mist. Though this past week we had some real rain, no one knew what to do. The fog does hold it's own beauty though, especially outlining the city. Thanks for stopping by! Have a great week :)
DeleteAmanda,
ReplyDeleteI love the beautiful city skyline of Seattle! I hope we can visit there someday. :) We're getting our share of rain, too. It looks like spring here with everything in bloom. I believe the tulips are just about past peak but the dogwoods are just beginning to come out. I want to take a drive around one of our Dogwood Trails in town. Knoxville puts on an annual Dogwood Arts Festival. Auto tours are quite popular this time of year. Maybe we can do that this Sunday if it doesn't rain us out. Thanks for stopping by and linking up today!

The tulips are just starting to bloom this year, it seems late for them this season. Though it has been uncharacteristically cold and wet, even for Seattle. I love this city, there is so much energy here. This is one of my favorite views too. Thanks for stopping by, hope you get to go out the festival! Have a great one :)
DeleteNice photo the air is a bit like here in London sometimes :-)
ReplyDeleteI've heard Seattle and London are similar in weather. I would love to go check it out for myself one day! Have a great one and thanks for stopping by!
DeleteGreat shot. We've had lots of cloudy days recently, not a lot of fog though. I'm sure we'll be getting some though.
ReplyDeleteI don't like the logistics of having to move through it, though I was able to take the bus this day to get my picture. It is easier to walk in it, though it is still unsettling not to be able to see the tops of the buildings.
DeleteThanks for stopping by! Have a great week :)
That is a wonderful picture. Well done. I have two cousins that live out that way. Hope you have a terrific day.
ReplyDeleteThanks! It was a great view. I hope they like it out here, I know I do. Have a great day and thanks for stopping by!
DeleteWhat a lovely view. I would love to take a walk around. Thanks for sharing at The Wednesday Link Up ad thanks for hosting :)
ReplyDeleteIt is fun to walk around in because it is like your own little bubble where the next street doesn't exist until you get there. Thanks for stopping by, have a great week!
DeleteIn the picture it almost looks like pollution haze not fog - glad it's fog...
ReplyDeleteThankfully it is just fog. Seattle is a very clean city really, even most of our public transportation is electric. Thanks for stopping by! Have a great week :)
DeleteFog in the summer is a good sign in the Bay Area. Thanks for hosting and I hope that you have a wonderful week
ReplyDeleteI'll take a good sign...hopefully warm weather *fingers crossed*
DeleteThanks for stopping by, have a great week!
That's a great photo!
ReplyDeleteThanks!
DeleteLovely photo! We've had more rain than fog lately here in north Georgia!
ReplyDeleteThe weather has been crazy this year. I don't mind the rain usually, but I still miss the sunshine. Thanks for stopping by, have a great week!
DeleteThat is a nice photo. I have never been to Seattle , but 2 of my hubby's cousins live there.
ReplyDeleteI really love it, it is a great place to visit and to live. Thanks for stopping by, have a great week!
DeleteNice photo!
ReplyDeleteThanks!
DeleteVery nice photo looks almost like in autumn and not taken in spring !
ReplyDeleteIt was definitely spring, but it has been uncharacteristically cold, so it's hard to tell what season it really is these days. I'm hoping for sunshine soon! Thanks for stopping by, have a great week!
Deletenice shots.
